In the summer of 2021, the NCAA decided to allow its athletes to benefit from their name, image, and likeness. As Stanford Track and Field athletes, we began our search for potential ways to earn money off our collegiate status. To our discovery, there were no paid opportunities for medium-tier athletes that didn't require significant commitment and restricting contracts.
For this reason, we decided to launch CollegeFans. Allowing athletes to have control over their cash flow instead of relying on companies is exactly what we wanted as collegiate athletes ourselves. In continuing our mission, we hope to elevate the self-image of athletes and pave the road to reaching their highest potential.
